HOLLYOAKS - Another serial killer to strike?

Hollyoaks villagers could soon have yet another serial killer on their hands, as someone administers a lethal injection at the hospital, to an unsuspecting patient.

The focus has been growing on the hospital set, which has grown since the departure of the SU bar and the student halls.

All viewers will see is a gloved hand committing the killer injection, leaving us all wondering who the culprit could be.

As the storyline, which is rumoured to be a major plot for next year, runs, it becomes clear that this mystery assailant thinks they have the right to play God with people's lives - and is obviously someone with access to patients at Dee Valley.

Tegan Lomax and Lindsey Butterfield already work at the hospital, with newcomers Dr S'avage, Kim Butterfield and Celine McQueen will all also have a big prominence too.

Knowing Hollyoaks, there will surely be lots of twists and turns...

But the number one culprit so far on my hit list is Dr S'avage. He looks shifty to me, already...

HOLLYOAKS - Shock twists in train crash aftermath

The aftermath of the Hollyoaks train disaster shows the bad Blake's - Patrick and Sienna - make some shock moves to push things in their favour.

As Maxine goes into labour after the smash, in a railway hut, Patrick soon emerges with their baby daughter. He tells the paramedic that Maxine has died during the birth... Will he steal the little girl and where exactly is poor Maxine?

At the hospital, Sienna is being questioned about her part in the crash, when Patrick arrives to tell the rest of the survivors about Maxine. But what he doesn't realise is that his daughter is planning a scheme of her own.

Sienna soon flees the hospital - with a hostage. Who is it? And what will those dastardly Blake's do next?

Knowing Si Si, it could be anyone in her grasp... My initial thought was Maxine's new baby, but surely that would be kidnap - and not hostage. So will it be Dodger? We knows she's obsessed with her brother. Maybe Theresa? Sienna has it in for her, because of her love for Dodge. Or someone else completely... Will whoever it is need medical attention?

We'll find out more next week!

HOLLYOAKS - Horror Train Crash: First Pics

As we know from the newly released trailer, there's going to be a massive train crash in Hollyoaks very soon - and life will not be the same again.

It's been revealed that the cause of the crash will be Patrick Blake, who would have just reunited with his wife Maxine, after blackmailing her to return to him. It's since been noted that abusive Patrick will soon return to his old ways, and leave a tracking device on Maxine's phone - locating her to the terror train, where Maxine's true love, Dodger, is playing happy families with Theresa McQueen and their baby daughter. (Don't say you're confused - this is Hollyoaks after all!)

Newcomer Lockie, and his bride Porsche McQueen are celebrating their nuptials on the party train, when the accident happens - meaning each of the McQueen family, along with Cameron, Dodger, Maxine, Patrick and Sienna - are involved in the crash - and explosion to follow.

Who's missing?
Carmel wakes first, and looks for survivors, but does this mean she'll survive herself?

We know that both Carmel, and her sister Mercedes, played by Gemma Merna and Jennifer Metcalfe, are leaving Oaks... Will they both die?

Who survives?
The spoiler pics show multiple versions - with characters missing in each. One picture sees McQueen favourites Carmel, Mercedes and Theresa all missing from the main lineup, while another sees Myra, Dodger and Phoebe absent.

It's also been revealed that Maxine will give birth in a woodland shed following the crash, with Patrick at her side. Will she and the baby be okay?

Knowing Hollyoaks, it'll be a shocker either way this story goes. But I think it's a given that either Mercy or Carm will be victims of this... Maybe even both of them...

THE X FACTOR - Last Girl Standing

Last night's The X Factor sing-off was a bit of a sad one, as Lola gave the best sing-off performance of the series, in my opinion.

Stereo Kicks were also good, but I feel Lola could have given so much more to the rest of the competition, therefore I was sad to see her go, after the judges votes took it to deadlock. It also means that Lauren is Cheryl's last girl standing.

The Fright Night weekend was actually one of the most entertaining of the series so far, and I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of the acts - Stevi was really good singing a more serious song, Ben was fab, Paul faced his worries and rocked it - but also, some of the 'definite good' acts didn't impress me. I thought both Andrea and Lauren had a rough week...

Saturday's first elimination was Jack - and rightly so, I felt.

He seemed such a nice lad, but I always forgot about him, so for me - he won't be missed... Jack and Lola's exits meant that it's only Simon left with all four of his acts. As he keeps reminding everyone!!

Cheryl's only hope left of winning is Lauren, which is no weak feat. I think - in the words of Louis Walsh - 'she's a great little pop star' but just needs to get that sparkle back she had at the beginning. Talking of Cheryl, what did we all think of her performance? I'm not too sure if I like the song yet, but she definitely puts a performance on. And it must be even more nerve-wrecking performing at your place of work...

With still no guess as to who could win, my faves are still Ben and Fleur.

It's Queen vs Michael Jackson week next week (after being changed late last night from Disco) so it's bound to be a week of big ballads and massive rocking out!

Just what a girl likes on her birthday...(mine, by the way!)

Roll on Saturday!!

EASTENDERS' Creepiest Halloween

Last night's EastEnders was pretty much the most eerily felt one I think I've seen - and this time last year, Michael Moon was murdered right there in the Square, by Queen of all witches, Janine!

Nick Cotton's re-intro has been beautifully done. Subtle hints to Dot, and the way his ghostly (and ghastly!) reflection lingered at her kitchen window was enough to make me go goose-bumpy. And this was just Thursday's episode!
Last night, however, stepped up a gear when the truth finally dropped for Dot. I was pleased that she realised herself that her son was alive. It gave her the gumption she deserves, and proved that she wasn't a 'silly old fool.'

'I know you're here, Nick...' and out he popped, lighter in hand, wishing his dear old Ma a 'Happy Halloween,' in only a way Nick could.

Perfect re-entrance for the perfect 'Enders villain.

With Nick, though, I hope to see him have a different edge about him this time. Dominic Treadwell-Collins has done wonders since being back at the helm of EastEnders. He's bought Ronnie back to her best and made the no-so-perfect, but my new favorite, couple in her and Charlie. So I hope the writers are going to take Nick to new heights too...

Maybe a grandson will change him? Maybe he's met his match in his new daughter-in-law?

I'm excited, either way...

The 'new' Abi has excited me too. I say new, as she's literally had a personality transplant since Jay ended their relationship and she accidentally killed her dog, Tramp.

I think the change came with her cold - 'things die' - comment to Emma Summerhayes. That was the turning point for me to make her a big suspect in Lucy's murder case.  Although I'm still sticking by my theory that anyone who could look a possible suspect now, probably isn't the killer at all...

It was Abi, though, who was most scary in last night's ep. Without knowing it to be her at this point - the Weeping Angel mask was horribly frightening... The silence of the scene. I could tell it was a girl from the height of the person Lauren was chasing, and we soon found that Cameron wasn't behind the mask, stalking Lauren on this occasion...

Why would Abi want to scare her sister to this degree, though? Is she just a twisted teen, or is there more to it?

Lorna Fitzgerald, who plays Abi, has said that her character just wants a bit of attention and set out to only scare Lauren, with no ulterior motive... Do I believe her? Well, do you?

With Christmas coming up, the focus will certainly be shifting back to Lucy's murder - as we're sure to find out more clues, leading up to February' big reveal.

In just over three months time, we'll have the answers we want - but will the story really stop there?

Brad Pitt to play Nigel Farage?

Brad Pitt - Hollywood legend, husband of Angelina Jolie and ex of Jennifer Aniston... Know him?

Well, he's been tipped by Ladbrokes to play Nigel Farage in a new Channel 4 drama, based on a UKIP government.

In all fairness, Brad himself is right down the line (at 500/1) in those famous faces but topping the list is Michael Sheen (3/1) and John Hanna (5/1), with Martin Clunes not so far behind, with odds of 10/1.

Michael Sheen has already had great feedback from his previous interpretation on Tony Blair, so I guess it's only right that he's firm favorite for the Farage role.

Matthew Shiddick, from Ladbrokes, said:

"Sheen fits the bill perfectly, but if they want a hapless Prime Ministerial performance, Hugh Grant has some form at 33/1. We suspect Brad Pitt might have more suitable projects lined up, so needless to say he's the rank outsider."

With UKIP being a major debate talking point for many, this drama may well be a hit - if only for the discussions it could cause! I can almost hear the Gogglebox gang, now!

Would this be something you could see yourself tuning in to, even if Brad isn't the starring role?
