EASTENDERS - Does Lucy's killer strike again?

The residents of Walford, still reeling from the murder of Lucy Beale at Easter, are in for another shock this week, as Sharon Rickman is brutally attacked in her wine bar, The Albert.

With Sharon having planned a cocktail making night, Phil hires a couple of heavies to guard the doors, causing tension with his other half as he fails to inform her of his decision.

Consequently, barman Jonny Carter serves the security men alcohol while they're on duty, so Sharon sends them home early. Both have made a potentially fatal mistake here...

At the end of the night, Jonny heads upstairs to grab his jacket before heading home, while Sharon begins to lock up.

What happens next is sure to change the lives of numerous people on the Square as two men, masked by balaclavas, force their way inside The Albert and attack a helpless Sharon, while a
petrified Jonny hides.

As Sharon is rushed to hospital, Phil is left devasted as he keeps a vigil at her bedside.

Will Sharon be okay? And more importantly, who has left her for dead?

While this may look like a random attack on a bar, we've been told that there are some surprising twists and turns in the aftermath.

Is this related to the murder of Lucy Beale, or is it the start of a whole new storyline?
