New Xtra Factor host revealed - as Caroline Flack waves 'bye-bye'

It's time to say 'byeeee' to Caroline Flack!
Caroline Flack has revealed that she has decided not to return as host of The X Factor spin off show, The Xtra Factor.

Her replacement, it has been announced, is going to be BBC Radio 1Xtra host Sarah-Jane Crawford.

Confirming the news, Sarah-Jane, 29, wrote on her Twitter page:

'Morning! Really thrilled to say that I'll be the new host of #XtraFactor this year!!!! Thanks to the X team for seeing something in me!'

Hello to Sarah-Jane... Will she be popular?
The new-girl on the block also paid tribute to Caroline Flack, saying:

'Massive respect goes out to @Carolineflack1 who's and amazing broadcaster and delivered 3 years of brilliant series #girlpower xxx'

Matt Richards, who was Caroline's right-hand man on last year's show (taking over from Olly Murs) is also not returning, meaning Sarah-Jane is likely to be flying solo.

Caroline tweeted this message to fans
The X Factor host Dermot O'Leary also welcomed Sarah-Jane to the 'dysfunctional' X Factor family but said he was 'sad to see my little sister go.'

It's looking to be a big year for The X Factor - and that's just with the newbie shuffles and the return of Cheryl and Simon!

At least we've still got our comfortable onesie, in Louie!
